2013-14 (Junior):  Nguyen was the top freestyle sprinter for the Cardinals and swam on all five of their top relay teams.  She became the second swimmer in school history to break 23 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle when she touched the wall in 22.95 to finish second at the CCSA championships.  She then added a 14th place finish in the 100 freestyle before picking up two fourths, two fifths and a sixth place in the relays.  She won the inaugural CSCAA Invitational 50 free with a time of 23.33 and was the 50 winner against Houston.  She won the 100 freestyle against both Southwestern and Houston and was the 100 butterfly winner against Southwestern.  She was named to the CCSA All-Academic Team.

2012-13 (Sophomore):  Nguyen earned CSCAA All-America honors in the 200 and 400 freestyle relays.  She was the team's second best sprinter behind national champion Tamiris Nascimento.  She finished third in the 50 and 100 freestyle events at the UIW January Meet.  She owns top 10 UIW times in the the 50, 100 and 200 freestyle.  She was part of the record-setting 200 freestyle relay time that clocked a time of 1:32.15 at the UIW Christmas Invite.  She swam all three individual sprint freestyle events at the national championship meet.

2011-12 (Freshman):  Nguyen swam the sprint freestyle individual and relay events.  She earned Second Team All-RMAC and All-America honors in the 400-yard freestyle relay and nabbed second team all-conference and Honorable Mention All-America honors in the 200-yard freestyle relay.  She individually qualified for nationals in the 50-yard freestyle, but did not make finals despite swimming her fastest time of the year.

High School:  Nguyen attended National Pedagogical of Dragomanova in Kiev, Ukraine.  She was a Ukrainian National Cup junior champion in the 200 and 400 freestyle relays and was a finalist in the 50 freestyle at the World Gymnasiada.

Personal:  Nguyen is the daughter of Manh Ha Nguyen and Olena Babiychuk-Nguyen and is studying interior design.  She has a brother Tom.  She was born on April 9, 1993.
