Biography

2012 (Junior):  Nicholls started all 20 games for the Cardinals in his first season with the club as a holding midfielder.  His play was key for the team's transition from defense to offense leading to 55-20 goal differential.  The 55 goals were the seventh best mark in NCAA Division II.  He scored his only goal of the year and had an assist in a 5-0 win at Southern Nazarene.  He finished the season with four assists.  He was named the Lone Star Conference Newcomer of the Year and earned First Team all-conference honors.  He was also named to the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Previous:  Nicholls played soccer at Bath University in England where he was known as a tenacious midfielder.  He led the team to a national championship in 2012 and was the first team captain.  He competed for a trio of club teams, Team Bath, Brentford FC and Weymouth FC.

High School:  Nicholls was on the soccer, cricket, rugby and athletics teams at Northolt High School.

Personal:  Nicholls is the son of Derek and Judeline Nicholls and is studying sports management.  He has two brothers, Andy and Joe and a sister, Katie.  He was born on September 27, 1990.
