2012 (Junior):  Hanson started 29 games for the Cardinals.  She hit a two-run homer in the season opener against UT-Permian Basin on Feb. 2.  She went 2-for-3 against Texas A&M-International on Feb. 16.  She finished the year with three doubles and three home runs.

2011 (Sophomore):  Hanson earned First Team All-Lone Star Conference South Division honors as a first baseman.  She hit .325 with nine doubles, three homers and 20 RBI's in 47 games.  She had a 10-game hitting streak that culminated in a 4-for-5 performance with two doubles and an RBI at Abilene Christian on Mar. 26.  The previous day, she was 4-for-7 with a run scored, three RBI's, a double and a home run at ACU.  She went 6-for-9 with five RBI's, three doubles and a home run in a three-game series at Eastern New Mexico on Apr. 21-22. 

2010 (Freshman):  Hanson appeared in 20 games and made four starts.  She had her first career RBI against Southern Arkansas on Feb. 27.  She was 5-for-24 at the plate for the season.

High School:  Hanson played volleyball, basketball and softball at Devine High School.  She was a first team all-district and academic All-State first baseman.  She earned first team all-district and All-Area honors in volleyball and first team all-district honors in basketball.

Personal:  Hanson is the daughter of Ricky and Cynthia Hanson and is studying biology/pre-pharmacy.  She has two sisters, Katherin and Kelsey.  Kelsey plays softball at Schreiner University.  Kim was born on July 1, 1991.
