HUNTSVILLE, Texas – The University of the Incarnate Word women's tennis team fell, 6-1, at Sam Houston State on Sunday morning at the McAdams Tennis Center.
 
The Cardinals started strong, securing the doubles point with wins on courts one and two, but SHSU battled back. The Bearkats won on each singles court to clinch the team victory.

UIW hosts Abilene Christian on March 15 at 1 p.m. (CT) at the Mabry Tennis Center. Admission is free to all regular season matches at the Mabry Tennis Center.
