EDINBURG, Texas – The University of the Incarnate Word men's tennis team fell, 5-2, to UTRGV on Friday morning at the Orville I. Cox Tennis Center.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
UIW's Marko Galic and Luka Stojanovic won the third court in doubles, but the Vaqueros secured victories on courts one and two to clinch the point.
 
UTRGV then won courts six and one in singles to go up 3-0, but Stojanovic defeated George Hutchings (6-2, 6-4) on court four to give the Cardinals a point. The Vaqueros, however, clinched the win with a victory on court two, halting UIW's comeback attempt.
 
UP NEXT
UIW returns to the Mabry Tennis Center on Thursday (March 12) to host Butler in an 11 a.m. (CT) contest. Admission is free to all home matches at the Mabry Tennis Center.
