ABILENE, Texas -- The University of the Incarnate Word men's tennis team faces Abilene Christian on Friday at noon (CT) in Abilene, Texas.
 
THE CARDINALS
UIW is 10-6 overall and 2-1 in Southland Conference action after falling, 4-3, at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Tuesday. The Cardinals secured the doubles point, but the Islanders won four of six singles courts to capture the victory.
 
SCOUTING ABILENE CHRISTIAN
The Wildcats are 18-4 overall and a perfect 4-0 in SLC action after a 5-2 victory over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Saturday. ACU also has league wins over Lamar (5-2), New Orleans (5-2), and Nicholls (7-0).

The Cardinals conclude conference action at Lamar on Monday at 3 p.m. UIW then travels to UTSA on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
