SAN ANTONIO -- The University of the Incarnate Word men's tennis team opens Southland Conference action and celebrates Senior Day against Nicholls on Sunday. The dual is slated for 11 a.m. (CT) at the Mabry Tennis Center.
 
THE CARDINALS
UIW is 8-5 overall after falling, 4-0, to Arizona State on March 22. Prior to Arizona State, the Cardinals defeated Laredo Community College (4-1) in Laredo, Texas. This is the first conference contest of the season for UIW, who looks to repeat its conference title from 2018.
 
SCOUTING NICHOLLS
Nicholls is 4-8 overall after being bested, 5-0, by New Mexico State at the Colonel Tennis Complex. The Colonels finished the 2018 campaign with a 1-4 mark in SLC action.
 
UP NEXT
UIW heads to New Orleans to take on the UNO Privateers on April 4. The dual is set for a 2 p.m. first serve.
