UIW Falls to Corpus Christi in Season Finale

SAN ANTONIO -- The University of the Incarnate Word softball team dropped an 8-0, five-inning decision to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Sunday afternoon at Cardinals Field.
 
The Islanders used back-to-back singles in the third frame and added four runs in the fourth inning to go up 6-0.
 
TAMUCC extended its lead to 8-0 in the fifth inning, scoring a pair of runs on an RBI single to secure the victory.
