The men's tennis team ended the season on a two game winning streak to end the regular season. The Cardinals end the regular season with a record of 8-10.
UIW beat two local opponents beating St. Mary's 9-0 and Trinity 6-3. Carlos Olvera and Luke Trautmann both had perfect weekends winning both of their doubles matches as well as both of their singles matches. Trautmann leads the by picking up his 11th and 12th singles wins of the season. Carlos Olvera and David Ballinger were the two other Cardinals to pick up double digit wins on the year.
The Cardinals will now travel up to Oklahoma to compete in the Lone Star Conference Championships. UIW will head into the tournament as the number four seed.
