Three cardinals were able to extend their matches into three sets before falling. Leury Arias fell to Hans Hach (4-6, 6-3, 6-4), Brandon Davis fell to Jake Hendrie (4-6, 6-2, 6-2) and David Ballenger fell to John Strahl (5-7, 76. 10-7).
