University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

Megan Mendoza joined the University of the Incarnate Word Athletic Department in January 2024 as the Athletic Administrative Coordinator. 

Mendoza graduated from Vanguard Rembrandt Secondary in Pharr, Texas (‘21) before moving to Lubbock to attend Texas Tech University (TTU). While at TTU, she was an Athletic Ambassador for Texas Tech Athletics Marketing and a Student Manager for the Texas Tech Track and Field Team. She was working with the team as they earned the title of 2023 Big 12 Conference Champions for the Indoor Track and Field season. Megan graduated Magna Cum Laude from TTU in August of 2023 with a degree in Sport Management and a minor in Public Relations while being a President’s Merit Scholar, earning President’s List Honors and Dean’s List Honors. 

She is now on the path to earning her Master's of Business Administration degree at the UIW’s H-E-B School of Business and Administration.
