In the fall of 2022 Kevin Malcolm Jr. returned to the University of the Incarnate Word to work in the sports information department as an Athletics Communications Coordinator. He has spent time as the main point of contact for nearly 10 different sports at UIW. Malcolm now leads the way for five programs at the Word including Football, Men's Basketball, Swim & Dive, Softball and men's Golf.
Kevin first came to UIW in 2017. In four years Kevin was a member of the swim team while earning a degree in communications with a concentration in journalism and a minor in English. Following his bachelor’s degree Kevin attended the University of Texas at Austin where he earned his master’s in journalism in 2022.

During his time in Austin Kevin worked with Austin FC, the Austin Gamblers, and the University of Texas athletics on stories and maintained an internship in San Antonio with the Spurs.
