Ashley Monjares joined the UIW Athletic Communications and creative staff in the fall of 2023 as a Graduate Assistant. She currently performs as the primary social content producer for all 25 sports at UIW.
She spent four years as a student athlete at Northwestern College (NWC) in Iowa, competing on the cheer and golf teams. During her time in Iowa, she interned as an athletic communications work study at NWC and Dordt College and helped produce creative content for the Sioux City Musketeers of the USHL. She has also performed as a social media coordinator for the 2024 Valero Alamo Bowl and a contributor for the 2025 FCS National Championship in Frisco.
Currently, she works with the San Antonio Missions as a game day photographer and is pursuing her MBA in Sports Management at UIW.
