University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

High School:  Reininger was on the football and track team at Johnson High School.  He was a Texas 5A state qualifier in the 110-hurdles and finished sixth as a senior.  He was all-area in the 110-hurdles, 300-hurdles, 4x100-relay and long jump.  He set the school record with a 22-10.5 leap in the long jump.  His top times in the 110 hurdles was 14.32 and in the 300 hurdles it was 39.20.  He earned the team's MVP Runner Award.  In football he was a District 26-5A honorable mention wide receiver with 14 catches for 476 yards and nine touchdowns.  He helped the track to to a pair of district titles and the football team went to the State semifinals.

Personal:  Reininger is the son of Charles and Sandra Reininger and is studying business administration with a minor in kinesiology.  He has a sister, Nicholle.  His father was on the track team at Texas and his mother played collegiate tennis.  He was born on January 10, 1996.
