2012-13 (Junior): Parravicini had another outstanding year. He set the Division II national record in the 200 breaststroke at the UIW Christmas Invitational with a time of 1:54.67. He owns the school record in both the 100 and 200 breaststroke and earned CSCAA All-America honors in both events plus the 200 and 400 medley relays. Both medley relay teams set school records during the season. He was the RMAC Men's Swimmer of the Week once during the season. He won six individual races throughout the season.

2011-12 (Sophomore): Parravicini earned All-America honors in the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke and 200-yard medley relay. He was an Honorable Mention All-American in the 200-yard individual medley, 400-yard medley relay and 800-yard freestyle relay. He was the national runner-up in the 200 breaststroke and set the national record during the season. He set the RMAC meet records and was First Team all-RMAC in the 200 breaststroke and 200 IM. He nabbed Second Team all-RMAC honors in the 200-yard medley relay, 400-yard medley relay, 100 breaststroke, 800-yard freestyle relay and 400-yard freestyle relay. He swam four individual events and three relays at the national meet. He set the school records in both breaststroke events.

High School: Parravicini swam at Centro Educacional da Lagsa in Brazil. He was a junior Brazilian and South American champion and a senior Brazilian and South American champion. He was also a junior Italian champion.

Personal: Full name is Thiago de Mello Parravicini. He is the son of Pierfranco Parravicini and Luciana Mesquita de Mello. He has a sister, Carolina. He was born on August 24, 1988. He speaks Portuguese, English and Italian.
