2011-12 (Junior):  Chede was named to the Preseason RMAC All-Conference Team.  During the regular season he was second team all-conference in the 500-yard freestyle, 1000-yard freestyle, 1650-yard freestyle and 800-yard freestyle relay.  He won the 1000 freestyle at three different invitationals.  He was an honorable mention All-American in the 800-yard freestyle relay

2010-11 (Sophomore):  Chede was the RMAC Swimmer of the Year and Co-Swimmer of the Championship Meet.  He earned First Team All-America honors in the 500-yard freestyle, 1000-yard freestyle and 800-yard freestyle relay.  He was an Honorable Mention All-American in the 1650-yard freestyle and 400-yard medley relay.  He was a four-time RMAC champion winning the 500, 1000 and 1650 freestyle events and the 800 freestyle relay.

2009-10 (Freshman):  Chede was NCAA Division II Champion in the 500-yard freestyle and was the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Year.  He earned All-America honors in the 500-yard freestyle, 1000-yard freestyle, 1650-yard freestyle and 800-yard freestyle relay.  He was RMAC First Team in the 1000-yard freestyle, 1650-yard freestyle and 800-yard freestyle relay.  He took home RMAC Second Team honors in the 500-yard freestyle and 400-yard freestyle relay.  He anchored the school-record setting 800-yard freestyle relay team.

Previous:  Chede graduated from Centro de Ensino Faria Brito in Brazil in 2004.  He was a four-time Brazilian National Champion and was the South American Champion in 2006.  He was a finalist in the 1500-yard freestyle at the 2006 World Championships in Shanghai.

Personal:  Chede is the son of Igor and Monica Chede and is studying sports management.  He has a brother, Igor, and his parents were both highly ranked swimmers in Brazil.  He was born on January 21, 1987.
