University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2011-12 (Freshman):  Leach thrived in the breaststroke events, but also contributed to the team in the 200-yard individual medley.  He posted his season best times in the 200 IM and 200-yard breaststroke at the RMAC Championships.

High School:  Leach was on the swim team at Round Rock High School.  He was on a 200-yard medley relay State Championship team in 2009.  He was a four-time All-State selection earning the honor in the 100-yard breaststroke, 200-yard medley relay (twice) and 200-yard freestyle relay.  He led the team to a third place finish in the state and second place finish in the region as a sophomore.  He was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal:  Leach is the son of Mike and Lauren Leach and is studying kinesiology.  He has a twin brother, Ben who is also on the UIW swim team.  He was born on March 3, 1993.
