2012-13 (Junior):  Norton grabbed RMAC Second Team honors in the 200 medley relay and was Third Team in the 200 bakcstroke and 400 medley relay.  He was also an RMAC All-Academic Second Team selection.  A work horse swimmer who had 31 individual races during the season, he swam the 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke, 200 IM and 400 IM at the Division II national championships.  He set personal records in each event, but was unable to earn an All-America spot.

2011-12 (Sophomore):  Norton was a Second Team RMAC All-Academic and Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll selection.  He showed great improvement in all of his events.  He earned Third Team all-RMAC honors in the 200-yard backstroke.  He posted season best times in three different events at the RMAC Championships.

2010-11 (Freshman):  Norton was a strong contributor for the Cardinals in the backstroke and individual medley events.  He was second in the 400 IM and third in the 200-yard backstroke at the Mansfield Invitational. 

High School:  Norton swam at Grace Community High School in Tyler, TX.  He was a two-time TAPPS state champion in the 200-yard individual medley.  He won the state title in the 100-yard breaststroke.  As a senior, he was an All-American.  He also was on the cross country and baseball teams.

Personal:  Norton is the son of Philip and Karen Norton and is studying accounting.  He has a brother, William, who swam at Navy and a sister, Brittany, who swam at Ouachita Baptist.  He was born on December 9, 1991.
