2022 (Junior): Selected to the SLC Preseason Second Team. Brannan had the second highest batting average at .299 with 17 runs, 46 hits, nine doubles and four home runs. Brannan had a season-high three hits against Northwestern State and four RBIs at Baylor...named to the SLC All-Academic second team. 

Junior College: Attended North Central Texas College in 2021 majoring in business..his freshman year he averaged .333 and one home-run…his sophomore year he averaged .310, 13 home-runs, and NTJCAC all academic team.
 
High School: Graduated from San Angelo Central High School in 2019 where he lettered all four years…won district offensive MVP his senior year with a batting average of .432 and 21 doubles…his sophomore year he won first team all-district catcher and 2x-all West Texas.
 
Personal: Son to Tim and Holly Brannan. Nixon is one of five siblings…Jackson, Hayes, Finley, Bella, and Ava..majoring in Business with a minor is Business Management…He’s been a Phi Theta Kappa member for two years now…Born on February 2, 2001 in San Angelo, Texas.
