University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

Thomas Walling is a longtime golf coach in the San Antonio area and joined the staff at UIW in the summer of 2013.

Walling was a school teacher for 39 years with the last 26 coming at Churchill High School.  He worked for 10 years in the field of sports medicine and the last 15 years as a golf coach.  He retired from Churchill in 2012.

Walling and his wife, Betty, have four children and five grandchildren and reside in San Antonio.
