Adrian Carrillo is in his second year coaching the Cardinal cross country and track teams after being a four-year member of the program. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology with a minor in all-level education.
He works exclusively with the distance runners and has a specialty in the steeplechase. He owns the school record in the steeplechase. He has worked with the women’s school record holder, Emma Jewell, in the event and had two runners place at the Lone Star Conference meet in 2013.
Carrillo was a member of the Heartland Conference championship cross country teams in both 2008 and 2009.
Carrillo is originally from El Paso, TX and attended El Paso High School.
