Biography

2012 (Junior):  Gonzalez made six appearances and one start for the Cardinals.  He had three scoreless relief outings each last 0.2 innings.  He started and took the loss at UH-Victoria on Apr. 24 despite not allowing an earned run in 2.0 innings of work.  He struck out a career high three batters in the game.

2011 (Sophomore):  Gonzalez made two appearances and had one start on the mound.  He tossed 2.0 innings allowing two hits and a run against Angelo State on Feb. 12.  His final appearance of the season came against St. Edward's when he pitched a scoreless inning of relief on Apr. 9.

High School:  Gonzalez played baseball at O'Connor High School

Personal:  Gonzalez is the son of Alex and Monda Gonzalez and is studying accounting with a minor in finance.  He was born on December 1, 1989.
