Strong Finish for Cardinals at NCAA West Regional

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The University of the Incarnate Word track and field teams closed its 2018 season on the final day of competition at the NCAA West Regional.

Sarea Alexander started the Cardinals off in the women's triple jump with a leap of 12.78m/41-11.25 to finish 22nd.

Jerica Love crossed the line in 13.44 in the 100H for 17th.

The women's 4x400m relay of Tiffani Mays, Victoria Jackson, LaShawnda Simmons and Erekha Sebastion posted a time of 3:47.79 and placed 24th.
