Synchro Continues to Make a Big Splash in Off-Season

The UIW Synchronized Swim team continues to impress aquatic athletes and coaches not only in the U.S. but also around the world. The team had a number of women named to the All-American team this year for both athletics and academics. UIW is a name to be reckoned with in the synchro world.

Athletic All-American: Camille Guerre (So), Beatriz Regly (Jr), Sarah Rodriguez (Fr), Natalia Vega (Fr).

Academic All-America: Armstrong-VanLaar, Barlow, Craney, Fedorenko, Guerre, Jaumandreu, McGee, Regly, Rein, Rosolowski, Rodriguez (4.0), Stanton, Sundin, Ulmer, Waslen (4.0), and Wills.

Freshman Natalia Vega will be representing the United States this summer at the Fina World Championships in Budapest. She has been named to the Senior National Team 1, which will be getting ready for the next Olympic games. Also, Camille Guerre may have a shot in competing for Team France this summer but it is to be determined (paperwork and selection pending).
