QUOTES
Head Coach Derek Riedel
"The 90th running of the Texas Relays ended up being our best in school history! In terms of event placement and the amount of school records we set this weekend was a fantastic early season weekend for us. Texas Relays weekend always signifies the true kick off of outdoor track season for us. We weren't at full strength with either gender but those that competed represented UIW very well and we know after this week that once we start rounding into full strength, we will have a strong second half of the season. The team did a great job of persevering through the hectic nature of being in two locations over a three-day period."
"We are hosting a small Invitational this upcoming Friday and Saturday. It is our final home event of the school year and it gives us an opportunity to recognize five outstanding seniors -
Jacob Ulbricht,
Rainy Castaneda,
Kathleen Hoffman,
Jasmine Williams, and
Vivian Diaz. I hope people will come out and watch our fantastic team compete!"
