SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The University of the Incarnate Word women's synchronized swimming team won their only home meet of the season this past weekend against Stanford University and Wheaton College.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Cardinals barely out-scored Stanford, 94 to 93, and Wheaton ended the competition in third place with an overall score of 64 points.

In the duet routines,
Sarah Rodriguez and Byron Walker earned 80.4667 points to take home first place and
Camille Guerre and
Beatriz Regly earned 79.6333 points to take third.
Camille Guerre was the only Cardinal to place in the solo routines with a total of 84.3667 points, which put her in first place in that category. In the trio routines UIW came in third place with swimmers

UP NEXT
UIW will travel to Gainesville, Florida on February 11 to compete against the Florida Gators. Start time for this competition is to be determined.
