Synchro Finishes Strong in Florida Invite

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The University of the Incarnate Word women's synchronized swimming team competed in the University of Florida Invitational this past weekend along with Lindenwood University, the University of Florida, and the University of Central Florida.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Cardinals placed well in this one-day competition but did not bring enough routines to be able to win the meet. Sarah Jaumandreu and Navada Ulmer took second place in the duets, Rachel Rosolowski took third place in her solo routine, and Mckenna Armstrong-Vanlaar, Lauren Rein, and Amanda Stanton took third place in the trio routines. For the team routine, UIW took home second place with 77.3667 points.

UP NEXT
UIW will take on Boston University for a two-day competition on February 18-19. The start time for this competition is to be determined.

STAY TUNED
The Cardinals will compete in the regional championship at the end of February. Details on this meet will be determined.
