Big Easy Tennis Classic Results

NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana- The University of the Incarnate Word's men's tennis team competed in the New Orleans Invitational this past Friday.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
 
The Big Easy Tennis Classic cancelled Saturday's Day 2 events due to Hurricane Nate.
 
In the men's singles flight 1, Sebastian Mortier went 2-0, advancing to the final round, while teammate Caleb Dyer reached the semifinals.
 
In the men's doubles flight 1, Mortier and Gabriel Evans teamed up and advanced to the finals, defeating Paton/Powell (Lamar) in Round 1 and Podgursky/ Guyot (Nicholls).
 
UP NEXT
 
The Cardinals will end the fall season in College Station, Texas, Oct 19-23 to compete in the ITA Texas Regional Championship.
