SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS- The Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association announced on Tuesday that the University of the Incarnate Word's
Mallory Draper and
Jason Checchin have won Diver of the Week honors.
A San Antonio native and freshman,
Jason Checchin, competed in the 1-meter diving at Trinity University last Friday and finished in third place with 262.10 points.
A Victoria, Texas, native and senior,
Mallory Draper, finished first in the 3-meter diving competition at Trinity University last Friday with 255.10 points.
The awards are the third and fourth for the Cardinals this season. Last week,
Kyrylo Shvets and
Dawson Martinez were named co-CCSA Swimmer and Diver of the Week, respectively.
UP NEXT
The Cardinals will host their last home meet of the season on November 3 at 12 p.m. against UT-Permian Basin at the Ann Barshop Natatorium.

The men and women's swimming and diving team will travel to College Station, Texas, to compete in the Art Adamson Invitational November 16-18.
