SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS-   The Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association announced on Wednesday that the University of the Incarnate Word's Kyrylo Shvets and Dawson Martinez were named Co -Swimmer and Co-Diver of the week.
 
A Kharkiv, Ukraine native and senior, Kyrylo Shvets swam a 9:30.33 in the 1000 freestyle at OBU last Thursday, with a first place finish. Two days later at the Little Rock Invitational, Shvets swam a 4:34.99 in the 500 freestyle and finished in first again.
 
A San Antonio native and sophomore, Dawson Martinez took second place in the 1-meter diving competition at the Little Rock Invitational with 298.25 points.

The men and women's swimming team with host Trinity at the Ann Barshop Natatorium while the men and women's diving team will compete at Trinity this Friday at 5 p.m.
