HOW IT HAPPENED
A close fought match threw out the duration of the game would end in a 0-0 tie. Both teams would have their fair share of shots but none seemed to be able to find the back of the net. With the Cardinals (4-10-1, 2-6-0) in control for most of the overtime period with a little under three minutes left remaining. UIW would set up

Joe Brown assisted on the play
CSU Bakersfield (5-8-1, 3-3-1) led the day with 4 saves. They only managed to record one shot on goal, and that was in regulation play
