CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA – The Coastal Collegiate Sports Association announced its annual All-Academic Honorees on Tuesday and the University of the Incarnate Word garnered the most mentions with 43 student-athletes on the list.

In order to be eligible for the All-Academic award, a student-athlete had to maintain a 3.0 grade point average throughout the 2015-16 academic year.  The Cardinals swimming and diving teams combined to have the most All-Academic Honorees of any school in the CCSA.  The women had 24 members while the men had 19 members.

Florida Gulf Coast led the women's teams with 27 total honorees while Florida Atlantic and Maryland-Baltimore County each had 21 honorees to lead the men's teams.
