DENVER, COLORADO – The University of the Incarnate Word men's soccer team had eight student-athletes named to the 2015 academic all-WAC men's soccer team, the league announced.
A total of 258 student-athletes from men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer and volleyball teams in the WAC were named to the list for the fall. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.
The Cardinals had sophomores
Robert Pratt (Tonbridge, Eng./HAKA) and
William Redmann (San Antonio/Smithson Valley HS), juniors
Joe Brown (Nottingham, Eng./The Becket School) and
Ben Conway (Wigan, Eng./Hawkley Hall) and seniors
Andrew Grossman (Arlington/Mansfield Summit HS),
Dylan Kelly (Tucson, AZ/Salpointe Catholic HS),
Kieran O'Boyle (Blackpool, Eng./St. Mary's Catholic College) and
Alfredo Zendejas (El Paso/Vista Grande HS) named to the academic all-WAC team. This is the second straight year on the all-academic team for Brown, Conway, Grossman and Kelly.
