SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – Alamo City basketball fans can get their first glimpse at the 2015-16 University of the Incarnate Word men's and women's basketball teams while enjoying a complimentary reception during the inaugural UIW Basketball Sneak Preview Monday, October 5 from 5-7 p.m. at McDermott Convocation Center on UIW's campus.

Season ticket holders and fans interested in attending are asked to simply RSVP by contacting UIW Tickets at 210-805-3000.

The highlight of the night is the meet, greet, and mingle with the men's and women's student athletes and coaches.  UIW alum, David Robinson will serve as the host of the event, along with Gabe Farias, President of West San Antonio Chamber of Commerce.

Fans who have not yet purchased basketball season tickets can take advantage of great offers the night of the event. Available seats will be tagged and representatives will be on hand to discuss seating options and ticket specials, including deep discounts for young alumni.

UIW's 13-game men's season ticket package is on sale now with select courtside and lower level seats starting at just $80.  The Cardinals are offering reserved seat back season tickets which are located at center court starting at $150.  Meanwhile the upstart women's program season tickets are also priced at just $100 for 15 home games in the McDermott Center.  Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase season tickets for both programs at a discounted rate.

Membership to the UIW Cardinals Club will also be available.  Members will enjoy exclusive benefits, including the best seats in McDermott Center, access to premium areas, post-game access, parking, and so much more.

Both teams tip off the season on Friday, November 13 when the women's team faces LSU-Alexandria at 6 p.m. and the men's squad will face Texas Lutheran at 8 p.m.
