SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – The Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association announced its All-Academic athletes for 2014-15 this week and for the University of the Incarnate Word, 34 team members were honored.
         
A strong performance at the CCSA championships last weekend capped off another successful season for both the men's and women's swimming and diving teams. This was further complimented by 34 members receiving further accolades, this time for their academic efforts. 
         
The women's team honorees were: Lauren Bennett, Jennifer Cokley, Mallory Draper, Kimberly Foster, Natalia Hernandez, Avery Heussner, Kelsey Johnson, Jozie Lowe, Daria Makieiva, Abby Meyer, Monet Moreau, Adrienne Morrow, Lana Nguyen, Geniveive Pena, Lauren Peterson, Sophia Rodriguez, Mikali Shedd, and Ashley Wayman.

For the UIW men, Kaulen Applin, Alex Brouwer, Ben Brouwer, Emilio Cavazos, Nathan Coppock, Mehdi El Hazzaz, Jorge Escarcega, Alex Flores, Scott Jonsson, David Moore, Aaron Moran, John O'Connell, Jeffrey Perry, Alex Ramirez, Joseph Reeves and David Santos each won the award.
