SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – University of the Incarnate Word senior Jonathan Camarena (El Paso/Del Valle HS) was named to the 2015 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) NCAA Division I Men's Soccer All-West Region Second Team on Wednesday.

Camarena was one of 14 Western Athletic Conference players to earn on spot on one of the three All-West Region teams.  He was a first team all-conference selection at left back and helped lead the Cardinals to an 8-8 record, their best since joining Division I in 2013.  He was one of three players on UIW to start all 16 games.  In addition to his strong defensive play he also contributed a goal and two assists on the offensive end.

Camarena is the program's fourth player to earn NSCAA All-Region honors in the Division I era joining Alex de la Garza (2014), Vinny Bailey (2013) and James Nero (2013).
