CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA – University of the Incarnate Word junior David Moore (San Antonio/Marshall HS) was named the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) Men's Swimmer of the Week on Tuesday.

Moore was the second leading scorer at the University of Iowa Hawkeye Invitational this weekend.  He won the 200 and 400-yard individual medley races in 1:46.55 and 3:48.58, respectively.  He went under the NCAA Division I 'B' cut time in each event.  He added a runner-up finish in the 200-yard butterfly in 1:47.39 and was part of the runner-up 800-yard freestyle relay team that swam a time of 6:33.48, the second fastest time in school history.

This is the third time in his career that Moore has been named the CCSA Swimmer of the Week.  On October 21, Collegeswimming.com gave him their conference swimmer of the week award.
