2011 (Junior):  Massoni started the final four games of the season at quarterback.  He passed for 311 yards and three touchdowns in a near upset of Texas A&M-Kingsville.  He passed for 172 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 102 yards at Tarleton State.  He split time at quarterback early in the season and was used mostly in the option.  He rushed for 372 yards on 74 carries.  He also handled some pooch-punting duties putting five of his six punts inside the 20-yard line.
 
2010 (Sophomore):  Massoni saw action in seven games as a change of pace option at quarterback.  He passed for 141 yards and a touchdown against Texas A&M-Kingsville.  He passed for touchdowns in three consecutive appearances.
 
2009 (Freshman):  Massoni received a lot of snaps under center as a freshman.  He tossed a 41-yard touchdown pass in a 17-14 loss at Langston.  He accounted for three touchdowns in three consecutive games.  He rushed for one score and passed for 151 yards and two scores in an overtime win at Oklahoma Panhandle State.  Both touchdown passes came in the final four minutes of regulation and forced overtime after the team trailed by 28 points in the third quarter.  He led the Cardinals to a 38-20 win over East Central by passing for 278 yards and three touchdowns.  He went 11-for-15 for 176 yards and three touchdown passes in a win over Texas Lutheran.  He rushed for 128 and a touchdown and passed for 102 yards and a touchdown in a win at Southwest Assemblies of God.  He finished the year with over 900 yards passing and 11 touchdowns.

High School:  Massoni played football at Leander High School.  He was a National High School Scholar and was the captain of his team.
 
Personal:  Massoni is the son of Brett Massoni and Patti Colvin and is studying sports management.  He has two brothers, Ralph Massoni and Taylor Colvin and was born on August 17, 1990.
